Purpose of the role:
The Junior Supply Chain Officer is responsible for scheduling and daily execution of, production, distribution and transport processes. The Junior Supply Chain Officer communicates with the CMO’s and LSP’s about batch allocation, consumption, and yield reporting. The Junior Supply Chain Officer monitors the on-hand inventory and keeps an eye on safety stock throughout the supply chain. The Junior Supply Chain Officer processes orders and invoices, also supporting in general administration for the supply chain team. The Junior Supply Chain Officer will be part of the order and admin team and is actively collaborating within the supply chain team, QA, QC, Sales & Marketing and the CMO’s and LSP’s.

 

Responsibilities:

The Junior Supply Chain Officer:

  • Manages the short to mid-term manufacturing & distribution plans.
  • Administers the workorder goods issue / goods receipt processes for the outsourced manufacturing and distribution operations.
  • Administers the sales order entry, delivery and invoice process. 
  • Organizes stock transfer orders with the CMO’s and LSP’s for goods movements between the pharming storage locations
  • Monitors the inventory and safety stock levels
  • Supports the supply chain team in the creation of mid to long term planning and the execution of projects
  • Provides information for management reporting and makes reports
  • Tracks the impact of changes and deviations on the supply chain processes
  • Identifies shortcomings in the current processes and procedures and suggests and implement improvementsSupports the supply chain team with general administrations tasks 
  • Maintain and update master data related to products, packaging materials, specifications, and production processes in SAP 4HANA.
     

Your Profile:

 

  • 1-2 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, ideally in a pharmaceutical manufacturing / distribution environment;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, advanced Excel skills and PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of SAP S4HANA is a plus.
  • Lean yellow belt certification is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, ideally also Dutch.
