As a result of the continuous growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Manufacturing Officer.
The Senior Manufacturing Officer ensures that these manufacturing processes are executed according to the required quality performance, GMP regulations, SOP procedures, within the agreed timelines at the contract manufacturing organizations.
The Senior Manufacturing Officer designs and controls both validation & transfer studies of manufacturing methods ensuring all processes are according to GMP regulations, required quality, SOP procedures within agreed timelines at contract manufacturing organizations.
As a Senior Manufacturing Officer , you will have a range of different responsibilities, which will include:
- Advice as subject matter expert for all manufacturing processes of one or more Pharming intermediates, drug substances and/or drug products.
- To ensure that the manufacturing processes are executed according to the required quality performance, GMP regulations, SOP procedures, within the agreed timelines at the contract laboratories.
- Transfer and validate all manufacturing processes of a Pharming intermediates, drug substances and/or drug products in commercial phase
- Investigate and troubleshoot when deviations occur during manufacturing and report the investigation
- Communicate with contract manufacturing organizations to ensure timely, reliable results
- Represent MCS in projects for advice and contribution on manufacturing processes.
Your Profile:
Knowledge:
- PhD / MSc or equivalent in (Chemical) Engineering, Pharmacy, Life Science & Technology
- Understanding of pharmaceutical development, documentation requirements, systems, and equipment knowledge
- Pre is specific expertise in oral formulation development such as granulation processes and tablet manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of English, both in word and writing
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in working in the pharmaceutical industry
- Minimum of 3 years experience in design of validation and transfer of granulation and/or tabletting operations
- Minimum of 3 years experience in GMP
