Overview
Pharming is seeking to hire a Legal Coordinator to be primary point of contact for contract management support and responsible for processing agreements from intake through expiration. This role will also provide support on other legal priorities, including intellectual property and employment law matters. This is an individual contributor role.
Key Responsibilities
The Legal Coordinator will be responsible for a wide variety of matters in support of Pharming’s growth as we increase the number of both pipeline and marketed products.
Core functions include:
- Responsible for day-to-day operation of contract management system, including processing incoming agreements, coordinating approvals and signatures, and tracking expiration dates.
- Assist with training colleagues on use of the contract management system and relevant policies and procedures.
- In connection with contract management process, coordinate with various functions to help ensure compliance with various legal requirements and policies.
- Develop expertise on Pharming’s contract lifecycle management software in order to assist others with the system, make recommendations on operational improvements, and implement changes as necessary.
- Assist with legal priorities including discovery, litigation support, and employment and intellectual property matters.
- Manage Authorizations to do Business and State Manufacturers Licenses.
- Conduct research using internal and external databases and tools, as needed.
- Handle attorney-client privileged and confidential attorney work product documents.
- Provide other administrative support to the Legal Department, as needed (e.g., maintain filing system, scheduling and tracking trainings, coordinating group meetings, assisting with process and payment-related inquiries.)
- Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid role – must report 2 to 3 days per week to the Warren, NJ office.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree by an accredited institution/university.
- 3+ years of working experience; preferably in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior legal or contract-related experience, i.e. paralegal experience.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management software and SharePoint.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization, problem-solving skills, diligence and attention to detail.
- Collaboration and the ability to work well with a wide range of people.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
Salary Range
Pharming takes into consideration a combination of candidate’s work experience, training, and education, as well as the scope of the role, complexity, and external market and internal value when determining a salary level.
The base salary range for this job is from $65,000.00 TO $85,000.00 per year.
